Join the Harvard College Union Society and Learn with Leaders this winter to share our mission of Intellectual Vitality with high schoolers from around the world.
Responsibilities:
Develop a curriculum for and teach a 90 minute class for ~60 international high school students
Our six core topics will be leadership, public speaking, problem solving, research, persuasive writing, and public policy. Feel free to indicate an interest in some of these in the application questions, but this is not required.
Serve as a mentor and chaperone for a smaller group throughout the week
Support camp logistics and handle unexpected needs as they arise
Model intellectual vitality, professionalism, teamwork, and adaptability
Logistics:
Room and board will be fully covered for the two-week period by the HCUS. Mentors will be housed in the Cambria Hotel, and classes will be run out of the Northwest Building, just north of campus.
Flights or other travel expenses will not be covered.
Compensation for each one-week session will be $2500, for a total of $5000.
Camp will run from January 4 -- January 18, 2026. Mentors must be able to commit to this entire period.
