The Harvard College Union Society is constructed around our weekly debates. Join us each Friday to discuss everything from philosophy to current events and social issues!
Travel
The HCUS participates in debate events at colleges along the Eastern Seaboard. Only inducted members are invited to these travel opportunities.
Priority
Members receive priority in speech and questioning recognition, as well as in the application process for our Learn With Leaders mentorship program.
Community
Along with our debates, the HCUS hosts social events throughout the semester. These are generally restricted to inducted members or students in the process of joining!
Opportunities
Full members become eligible to run for leadership positions, receive priority consideration for our paid LWL mentorship positions, and have greater sway with the organization.
